ENGLISH DAY

It was celebrated on October 25th 2013. For this day, English teachers organized the first English Training. It is a TEST that measure the English level from Third grade to Eleven grade; in order to evaluate reading comprehensions and grammar competences. Base on the results teachers design new strategies for improving the weaknesses.

On the other hand, there was a space where students had the opportunity to reinforce communicative competence with show songs, interviews, sketches, and a fashion show and roll play. Through these activities students assume responsibilities as a second language learn; mostly in the students and teachers left theirs seats before the activity finished.

Is important the motivation for English as a second language in Rufino’s Community, the teachers want to improve the level using some posters to mark the different dependences of the school, in order to reinforce basic vocabulary and memorize daily words.

English Area wants to motivate the students that ENGLISH is an important tool in their life; they need to practice listening, reading, writing and speaking all time, because some day there are going to use and apply their awareness at the university, working and in the daily life.
